The ventilation sleeve is used for the efficient creation of recesses. Instead of creating individual wooden or Styrofoam recesses and then laboriously removing them, the ventilation sleeve is cast into the concrete ceiling directly at the precast concrete plant. The construction of a counter-formwork in the basement is completely eliminated, as is additional drilling for fastening the adapter ring, due to the integrated screw domes with standardized hole spacing.
